Thanks

I´m sorry but you say you can´t fit the wheel because there isn´t enough clearance between the inner wheelarch and the ground? Or is it maybe a matter of raising the bus A LOT more to actually get it in? I have seen 17 inch tyres fitted with one of these kits..so I guess it should be possible...anyway good luck, mate!
By the way, nice disk conversion! What is it from?

the problem is clearence between teh disk and the arch, I think a 17" rim would fit easier due to he smaller distance between the underside of the wheel and the top of the tyre, my wheels are 15" and have a 65 profile tyre, this i fear is the problem!

any one have a set of 16" teledials???

I asked the same question recently, I know on mine with standard plates I need every mm of downwards travel to get the wheels off.

Can't you notch a bit out of the bottom of the spring plate.
You will still have to remove shocks at the bottom but should work .
Also looking at it you will have to remove all of your bump stop

It does look as if you are going to have problems due to the brake caliper being in the way. It can be very tight with a drum but you have the caliper mounted on the top reducing clearance more.

You could try deflating the tyre (I had to do this on my 52), grind a bit of the lower bump stop (the metal part that the spring plate is restricted by), get someone to hold the arch out a bit.

You will need to chop your rubber bump stop by at least 2/3 too
