5.5 j or 4.5j what's it all about

Seen a good price on some 356 replica rims. They are all 4.5j. My bus is about to go 4 inch narrowed beam. Will a full set of 4.5 j work all around or do I need 5.5j on the back. Confused.com.

Stock rims are 5J.
Obvs the 4.5's are narrower but are unlikely to fail. What tyres would you fit?

175 55 on the front. 185 or 195 65 on the back what do you think. Will it work ? Cheers

I've got 4.5s with 165/50s from memory they tuck in nice with my narrowed beam

I have 5.5s for rear

Id say 185's on the back would be as wide as you'd want.
