69 Devon Camper

Rust Free, Complete Original interior, professional restoration.

Interior - Original Devon Caravette in complete very nice unrestored condition. Including, cool box, bed/seat, table, cupboards and draws everywhere. It even has a rare OG stand for using the cooker outside.
3 point seatbelts fitted 2x rear 2x front. Bloothooth head unit with discreetly hidden speakers in cab.
All door cards are Original and in nice condition.
Cab seats have been professionally reupholstered. Also all new made to fit carpets throughout cab area. New flooring in rear. New lined curtains all round fitted.


Exterior - the bodywork was completed to a high standard. Following the van being bare metalled all of the rust was cut out and replaced with new best quality panels & body cuts where possible. NOTHING was left to chance. correct coloured paint to bring this Devon camper back to original.
All new rubbers were fitted throughout.

Mechanics - The electrics have been completely gone though including the dynamo & starter motor having refurbishment locally. I also commissioned a local Air-cooled VW specialist to build a 1641cc engine with new parts including twin Webber carburettors and new heads, B&Ps exhaust and heat exchangers.
The Brakes have new copper lines, shoes, cylinders & hoses all round and she stops nicely in a straight line.
The Suspension has been lowered using a late splitscreen front suspension beam and using 'dropped spindles', with 'adjustable spring plates'
