72 donor in Bristol

Hey everybods,, Madonna has just about served her purpose ( my donor ) and will need to go soon, roof to waist is gone motor and box gone, steering seemed ok, lots of bits an bobs, disco front end, wheels are ok but tyres are only good for rolling a project around, no interior or dash etc has a column . Oh I nearly forgot ,,,, if anybody needs some rust, There is a fair bit of that. Much too stew peed to do photos, just if anybody round here wants anything for theirs and wants to pop round and rip it off and bribe me with some wonga, or if someone wants the whole sheebang. Try ringing me on 07723 069937 if I`m not grinding I might answer, (I`ll call back). Kingswood, Bristol if you want to have a shneaky, kettles always just boiled. A couple of reasonably crap doors and a couple of really crap pop tops, one looks like a tortoise humping your van, the other has a shroud then the concertina type canvas (knacked).

Hi there,

Am after the door step part of the front left arch, with the bolt holes for mounting a front bumper underneath. What is it like? Would be up for a round trip from Surrey to collect, but never tried cutting from a van!

Really sorry, but the bodywork on this baby has a tiny bit of rust, OH ALL RIGHT lots of rust, I can however just about make out the shape of where the step was, punctuated with a few orange coloured holes / gashes. I don`t think you would need a grinder to cut it off,, I think that may be a no then ????

What sort of condition is the steering box in please, and do you know if there is much play in it?

If ok what sort of price would you be asking? I'm not to far from Kingswood so could pop over to collect

I got to assume that it`s good because I drove it back (on a bar) behind my mates disco and can remember what a lovely ride it was bearing in mind I was sat on a beer crate, no slider or back door and canvas billowing in the wind. It`s still fitted to the van now, so you can give it a good wiggle if you like. Now the ride may have been extra good because of no engine / box (weight). If you want to come and slip it off you can have it for, well I don`t know what its worth. Why don`t you come and get it off and you tell me what it`s worth after you have tried it on your van ? Is it worth £100 or £20 or just a fiver, I have no idea. Pop over and have a look, I`m down by the ring road or ring me on 07723069937. TRy it you might like it. And I am serious, it`s only worth whatever you think it`s worth.

Hey bluenose,,,, Sorry to say the bumper mounts had a scaffold tube welded to them which had been sawn off on one side and wrenched up vertically, i expect that was when the p.o. took the motor out, so not much good to anybody unless you wanted scaffolding around the back of the van.
