Already ive purchased items off of two people on here that have been posted from long distances.
Both items were accurately described and honestly priced so just saying a big thanks to...

Would recomend dealing with these two as they looked after me in todays megga proffit making machine that is 2nd hand classic VW parts by charging a fair price n not jumping on the bandwagon.

Thats the good thing about Earlybay, as most of the local guys you buy from on here, you'll meet at the shows as well, its all about reputation and i think we have the best people with excellent reputations. Don't worry, anyone pulling a fly one will get in trouble fast.

Its good to see posts on happy purchases, normally we dont here the good news and only when it goes wrong :wink:

I'll ditto that. Great to deal with people on here.

Had a few things from people on EarlyBay...never had a problem. Goods always as described, good communications, etc.

Unfortunately, not always the case when purchasing from elsewhere on the net.
Got my fingers burnt after purchasing an item from another forum this summer.

My cheque was cashed but the goods never arrived. These things do happen occasionally, but what made it worse was the fact that the seller clearly didn't give a toss! He always failed to returned a phone call or answer an email and I never received a refund or any offer of some form of compensation.

Still, I've got his address. So when I'm in his area next he's being paid a visit :twisted:

i ALWAYS use paypal, the extra 4% is peace of mind as you know you can always get your money back.

I am newish to the forum aswell and have done a few transactions with a couple of people on here. They also were spot on with descriptions and really fair at striking a deal, so i too would like thank the site for been so cool, all the people involved with running it and all the people iv'e dealt with. WELL DONE

Someone else i have purchased from on this site is FAUX(John).
After going on the hunt for a speedo head John came up trumps :mrgreen:
PM'd me his address,sent the money.
When the money apeard(his end) he pm'd me straight away & 2 days later the part has arived.
Perfectly packaged and in tact.

like johnny says ..we all meet at the shows and our reputation is important. Everyone i have bought from on here has done good business. I like it when we put names to faces..whether thats at a show or an unexpected meeting at an obscure place..long may this honesty continue.
