OK every one rally up and give some motivation to Loxy. he's had his van off the road for far too long and and it's starting to bug up both that he's not out on the road in it. he wants to be riding it to work and back and get that feeling again but something is stopping. he's got all of the engine bits for his rebuild but is lacking something to get his arse in gear. Look, i even took some sneaky evidence:

Come on Loxy i want to see you get more than your arse in gear.

We should have a finish off his van party, or just all take it in turns to kick him till her gets it finished

Come on Loxy - I wanted to be the only person on the forum that never really gets on with their van, I've bagsied the position and I want it all for myself!

Take a deep breath, stick the kettle on, and get out there dude!!!

;)

How did Haveacamper get that pic?
Never let him in the house for fear of him stealing the family silver

J&M, just bought a new kettle today, hoping that provides the inspiration I need.....

My engine never looked that clean when i re-built it

Whats the spec gonna be?

Nothing wild, 1699cc - 74mm crank stock forged B&Ps, engle 100 cam, 36 drlas and a little bit of home porting on a stock set of heads.
Will hopefully give me a little more oomph up the hills with good fuel economy.

progress has eventually been had...

is this the start of a large snowball??

Before anyone says anything, I know the cam is stood behind the engine
Just checking out barrel fit/deck height before final assembly (I hope).

Is that being built in your house!!!!

Looking good.

It was there or the garage and thats all dirty with spiders and stuff  , should have seen it when the gearbox was in the house as well.......

Your wife is obviously more aircooled friendly than mine

I do remember as a kid in the kitchen with bike engines everywhere, my mother was into bikes so probably the only reason I got away with it....

I got in sooooo much trouble when i was lapping valves into a cylinder head in the hallway and got greasy muck on the wood floor! Our garage is in a block so has no power or lights.

Yes its actually happened....
