Sorry to do this to you all, but I have to ask,

how much do you think my wheels are worth?

Spec; 5 x Standard 14" steels, with Stainless rings, hub caps are present, but need replacing, with propper comercial whitewall tyres, plenty of tread. spare tyre is a whitewall, but has an inner tube in it, and is white.

what you think??

ultimately what someone is prepaid to pay! I would guess between £150 and £200 for a set of rims and good tyres sound about right to me.

Just that, whatever someone is prepared to pay, you have to remember theres no shortage of stock 14" rims....

i always think if poss you should keep your stocks. for the sake of a oner stick em in ur loft. then...if...god forbid you sell the bay slap em back on and sell your alloys.

To be honest that's what I have done with mine, jammed them in the garage loft

With more and more people running alloys there are loads of steels available so unless yours are mint condition with new tryes then i dont think your'll get more than £25 a wheel so about £100 for all 4 :(

well not much point keeping them, unless I remove the Porsche brakes that i'm fitting ;)

Its the tyres that are worth the money, Comercial white walls are in demand and at £65 each, thats a lot of dosh! mine are like new too :)

The price I said was more based on the tyres. If someone needs a full set and these are already on rims and balanced then £150 to £200 would be a good deal. Stick them on the samba and vzi and see what happens .

sometimes you get more splitting tyres off and selling seperately. i think ebay is the best way of finding the value of an item at the point that you choose to end the auction. 99p start and let it run. a little advertising on the site that you frequent and usually if you end it on a sunday night for example you should get a decent price. :D
