in all seriousness the very fact that you should be posting this question highlights the way this expression has been hi-jacked by the 'hoi polloi' :|

anything *slammed* is just that... literally looking as though it's been slammed into the ground, but in recent times it has been corrupted to the point whereby practically every vehicle that's been lowered by a couple of inches gets described thus... have a trawl through the readers' rides sections on the various forums if you don't believe me... you'll see 'slammed' used all over the place, 99% mis-used as well :roll:
