Hi me again lol,its sunny tommorow so going to look at my front beam this was on the bay when i brought it and the back sits a little lower than the front, the beam has 1 nut on it can i lower it whilst on ramps or do i have to take the weight of the front completely, which way and how far do i adjust the nut to lower it an inch...many thx...Rowan

I assume you have an ajuster fitted to this beam? Unless you are sure this is what is fitted don't touch anything. The beam will have a nut fitted from the factory (this is to hold the torsion bars in place), loosen this and the whole front beam will collapse!!

If it is an adjuster fitted it should be an easy job. Handbrake on and chock the wheels to stop van from moving! Support the front of the van with axel stands. Crawl under and back off the adjuster, crawl back out. Support van with jack, remove stands and lower van to desired height with jack. Put stands back under for safety, then crawl back under to tighten adjuster securely. That should be it but you might wanna go round the block to let it all settle back down.
