Hi all,
need to pick your brains,...............winter is on its way and i havent got the luxury of a garage, so i need to get a van cover asap!,.........so who does the best ones and who should i avoid?, have already been advised to give jk a wide birth but he didnt say why???? , dont want to spend fortunes but i want it to last, there's so many out there that im confused! (doesnt take much)

cheers in advance..................kev :D

if your van doesnt leak dont bother with a cover. I've found they keep the damp in the cover and rub on the paintwork causing small flat spots in the paintwork.

Jk covers arent bad (but avoid door, window rubbers like the plague. Reason:- theyre crap), i had one on mine for 2 winters and then it needed replacing. But it was parked under trees.

Rich.

Try these http://www.carcoon.co.uk/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; environmental controlled.

I've got a JK cover and it's been OK. it's suffered much abuse and has come through relatively unscathed.
As long as you remove the cover occasionally, which you would to run the engine up, you shouldn't get any paintwork problems.
Leave the cab door windows open slightly as well.

Like Uber I found that the JK left the van damp under the cover and was not great, it seemed to hold more water in than keep water off so I eventually stopped using it as at least the natural ventilation kept the van aired rather than held the moisture in.

You really need a breathable one but they do cost more,
