Alternator

hi new be here just fitted an alternator on my bus but have no idea how to wire it up please help anyone. Thanks.

Welcome!

Have you converted from a generator to alternator, or just replaced like for like?

If the first option then you need to do a small bit of rewiring. I had a swap over to an alternator a couple of months ago so should be able to help out if required.

Hi.
thanks for the help and advice, I think I got it.

Its a change over, confused a bit as it has no earth. I've put a positive wire straight to the bat pos and the green wire I connected to the idiot light. getting bat tomoz as other one I had was to small. Think thats all I need to do but will check here again before connecting to bat.
