Right, bit of a tricky/vague one.

I've been offered a 69 panel van. It's a one owner vehicle, but has been well used through it's life so has some wear and tear. Saying that though, there's practically no rust, it doesn't need any welding and it's very original. Original seats, headling, paint on the inside etc. The only thing it's had is a respray on the outside at some point, and a window put in the side.

So basically my question is, how much is something like this worth in the present UK market? Any info greatly appreciated.

£3-4k?

panels never fetch quite as much as campers, as less folk want em, and an added window is a bit of a negative point for yer panel lovers

but a good rhd workhorse is like rocking horse sh!t, so you never know

Depends on so many things.

Is it running and MOTd? :?:
Interior condition etc

With a window put in, i doubt you would pay anymore than £4000 for it, as long as its running and MOTd 8)

you can soon turn it back to a pannel(if its just one window thats been put in) with a bit of work, personaly i would pay more for a good pannel van than a camper (not many left that havent been butchered)

but price wise, like easy said depends on overall condition,is it a patchwork quilt underneath ,i would sooner buy rusty than patched up

From what I've seen in the pictures the underneath looks untouched.

It's supposedly been dry stored all its life.

Hey now that is looking tidy, well worth a barta, start at the upper level and think about what you want to do, personally I'd be looking at knocking cash off to replace that panel, see what he says. 8)

It does look solid to be honest fella!

Like said above though, depends on so many things.

Start low and work up in my opinion on the price.

Buy it though, panels rock!

Looking at those pics, that Panel would go for $7-$8K over here in the US, most likely more since it's RHD.

Thats solid as fook, get it son! well worth up to 4 large

Lol, not yet.

The blokes out of the country for a couple of days, so I've got til Sunday to think about it.

The only thing that's putting me off is the fact it'll take me up to owning 8 cars!

Think I need to have a bit of a cull.

That's the problem, only two of them are road legal, the other 6 would all be projects!

You're more than welcome to a couple of them dude!
