Anyone fitted MX5 seats?

I was looking at fitting Porsche Tombstones into my van but I wont be able to fit the Westy cab bunk in because of the high backs, and during last nights ebay session I came across some MK1 Mazda MX5 seats which look quite low and the head rests are removable. Has anyone fitted these?

Ive just got some in tan leather with inbuilt speakers in the headrests im going to colour change them before they go in.Looking at the runners the floor mount will need fettling and there are some little spikes that will need grinding off.
I,ll post some pics when ive done them.
