Anyone from Mansfield?

I have been tracing the history of my van and have found out the first owner was a VW dealer in Mansfield called Central Motors they were later taken over by Newbolds in the mid 70s. Does anyone know of or remember Central Motors? I was wondering if they just sold VWs and how long they were operating for or anything else.They were the first owner of my van it was registered to them for 6 years I guess this was when Newbolds took over.

Newbolds in Mansfield are out on the Chesterfield Road (officially known as Mansfield Volkswagen) - a colleague at work uses them. Dunno how long they have been on this site but they have been around Mansfield for a good few years!
