Anyone recommend an insurance company, but not CHERISHED

Just got off the phone from cherished insurance after being a happy customer for a few years only to be told that they can't insure me and my wife anymore because we don't both have daily drives! Thought she was joking. :evil: All this just because I didn't renew immediately.
Can anyone recommend an insurance company please. One that doesn't create stupid rules.

Heritage/Norton have right royally ****** me around big time this year!

Been with them 3 years and when I called them up as my certificate hasn't come thru they mentioned "why cant you use your daily driver?" - I advised them that my bus is my daily and always has been.
They then went into the realms of "it can't be as its a classic" which I said was complete bollocks - they then said I lied to obtain my quote saying I owned another vehicle, I got the sods to listen to all the historically recorded calls in order to eat their words and admit they are wrong!

They've now made sure I'm covered as a daily driver but told me my quote will jump up upon renewal......They can take a running jump next year!

I use Peter Best. All insurance companies are evil dirtbags, but these guys are ok as far as I'm concerned.

only thing with rh is the bay has to be garaged last year on the drive now garage don't have one anyone know of company that will insure on the drive

I use Carole Nash, insured on the drive and full AA cover.

Went through vw heritage got a great deal agreed value on drive and only company car so worked well for me

Im with Carole Nash and they were happy as long as its parked off the road.....NO GARAGE.
May be its a London thing ?
