As above - I'm curious as I have 22mm thick plates which mean that I've had to have 3mm machined off my nuts (ouch! ) so that the nuts don't sit too proud.
I know 22mm and 25mm plates are available, I just wondered if anyone else out there is running 22mm and had to do what I've done?

Any feedback gratefully received - oh, and 5x112 to 5x130 by the way (narrow five).
Thanks

;)

im was running 22mm plates on the back and had to do the same. I have cookie cutters which sit flat on the adapter over the original so theres no extra space for the nuts. I was a bit worried about shaving them but have had no problems so far. I will be changing to discs soon and redrilling the hub for pcd130 jut to dump the adapter and give a bit more room under the arch when i drop it.

I've done the same (with my cookies) & have the same plans to change to porsche pcd brakes - mostly because the fronts look too wide in the arches.
They haven't fallen off yet....

i went for Wilwood calipers on an EBC 280mm PCD130 crossdrilled disc, 944 hub with a bearing adapter kit for latebay spindle. Should end up with no extra track and tuck in nicely, i cant wait to fit it but want to complete the bodywork first.

the ET on cookies is pretty poor isn't it loxy? something like 23?

I saw your setup a while back - it looks good. my indecision at the moment is what to do with the front end suspension. I know I want to go lower and narrower but....
K&L with a slamwerks narrowed beam.
Transporterhaus/T2D BJ with a narrowed creative beam (or maybe slamwerks if they do these now)

Once the above is decided I can then make a final decision on the brake setup.

I struggled to get a definitive ET for the cookies, My guess is that they are similar to the stock wheels but the extra width of the rim & the adapter makes them wrong.

I've got 20mm adaptors on the front of mine.
I cut all 20 original nuts down with a hack saw... My arm was like Popeye's by the time I finished!!
Funnily enough, I took the wheels off and check tightened them only yesterday... All good.

Got my 22m plates back from my mate yesterday - he's a machinist by trade so he skimmed the plates to ensure they were totally flat, machined the holes so it's easier to get a socket in there, and turned down the nuts by 3mm - all good!!

I wouldn't have fancied using a hacksaw, that's for sure!!
