Bought van 5 years ago. Sprayed and now going together. When I bought it the doors were shot but it had two doors with it spare. Fitted them and all seemed ok. Placed the seals on the passenger door and I can now see massive gaps and the door won't shut properly if at all. The ban is a 72 cross the door seems to be late as it has a plunger for the door lock were as drivers door doesn't. Is the door wrong for the van. Can I do anything about it. It's been sprayed ready and I can't afford s change now

68 doors are year only. They have the door top pull lock and different handles. Not easily fitted to other vans.

69-73 doors have the lock in the handle and the 69-79 door handles

74-79 doors revert to the door top pull up door lock and have different hinge fittings and check straps.

69-79 doors are all interchangeable and can be fitted with hinge/check strap converters that are available.

Clem says a 74 door will have the pop up door lock. Hoping this is a 74. If it is a 68 how do I make it fit really do not want to buy a new door get it sprayed etc. by the way cheers for your help so far all

Don't think it's a 68 door as it has the fresh air vent supporting frame in the corner - pretty sure only cross overs and late bays had this.

Good spot. Looks like a later door to me that will use a trigger pull external handle.

Cheers troops. Fitted everything to drivers door. Trial and error took 6 hours total. Hopefully this door will be half the time. Mod kit ordered

that is a later door not a 68 door the bottom part of the door on early buses are solid and don't have cut out for the vents that go in the door i checked on my 70 panel yesterday and it is solid and not cut out.

the door is half inch to low. Can it be adjusted some how. The belt line on the door is ok hinge end but half inch low by the striker plate
