how do i make my picture small enough its says all my pics are 2 large

I struggled with this too, but found a way to resize my pics in Photobucket to under 11kb.

I'd love to explain how I did it but it was so painful my brain has blacked it out.

If you're using photobucket copy the HTML URL code of the photo you want.
Go to user control panel in the forum. (top right)
Click on profile (left hand side)
Click on edit avatar
Paste the HTML Url code into 'link off site' section.

Change avatar dimensions to 80 x 80
Submit.

Fingers crossed that should work.
