Hows ya fingers coming on?

They are healing up nicely now, still very sensitive but should be ok by next week, just in time for snow  on the plus side I managed to throw 2 180's at darts with bandaged fingers whats that all about?

Id keep them on when plying the arrows then...

Just got back from the hostpital. Been signed off for 3 weeks but the worst bit is i have to give myself injections every day to stop blood clots which means I cant drink for 3 weeks. nnnoooooo......

New pot, in blue.

So no work on the van for the next month...damn :(

Feel for you bud. Did my cruciate ligaments 5 years ago in a rugby game. Knee was bent sideways 90°.
And snaaaaaap.
Its still not right despite regular physio and 3 ops since.

Early Bay forum for the old and infirm.....I fit right in
Its a bit worrying though, you start with a problem with your ligaments and end up being told not to drink....but its ok to inject drugs !! No wonder the NHS is in trouble
Seriously though get well soon .

Fingers ok now still a bit sensitive (wear gloves sorts that out) no 180's :( think I should wear the bandage when I play

Well, went to the hospital this afternoon - hoping to get the plaster off.

Got cut off and the doctor came over and said I should be good for a support boot but just has to have a word with his boss.

10 minutes later comes back and informs me that his boss says I need a pot on for 4 weeks and also to be signed off work for that length of time

Worse still, I have to take the daily jabs to reduce the chance of blood clots and that I can't drink while on these - so that will be 7 weeks of no alcohol................WTF

Means nothing on the van will be done also, probably until after Xmas now :(
