I've just been advised by my friendly mot tester that my ball joint rubbers are knackered I have bought some new 1s but just wondering how difficult this task would be??? :D

Not too bad a job in my opinion, need a bloody big bar to lever the torsion arms out of the spindles and a ball joint splitter if they're playing hard to get! Then its plain sailing after that ;)

All easy once you have then split.
Top ones I use a scissor Jack to spread the arms and then change the rubbers. Bottom ones I use a bottle jack to lift the arms

If doing to top ones mark where the eccentric nut is before you split them. Also if you split them and the eccentric nut is still on the ball joint you need to remove it before you can put the boot on. Easier I found is to then pull the arm off soak it in plus gas or something then pull it off you may even need some heat on it.

In all cases check to bj is good and not full of dirt. Repack with grease or better graphite grease and reassemble
