Can anyone tell me is it an "063" battery the right one for a bus :msn4:

I picked up a Bosch S3 065 for £50 the other day from eurocarparts on ebay. Collected 10 mins later from local store...saved about £40.

I also had this 95Ah Varta Blue G7 battery bookmarked, but thought it was overkill.

the reason why i went big was when i flatten my leisure i know i can still chuck a jump lead off the main battery positive to the leisure ouput and run all my stuff and still start the van the next day.

There are some exide 063 on fleabay on special for £35 delivered, so i may go for one of them as i do have a 110 amp leisure bat. That runs the lights/ stereo etc. so only required for starting mostly :msn4:

i should also add that as my van is 2 litre fuel injected (which requires a good voltage to open the injectors) plus an auto, bump starting isn't an option!

BTW, most scrap yards will sell you a decent working battery with a warranty for about £15... much cheaper than the £35 GSF special, and often better brands too.
