I like the blue late on the big BRMs but i dont think big rims look right on a early. Its that mix of modern and old (even if the 17s are BRMs or Fuchs)
Everyone to their own though. That T2 detectives bus is a body drop job so quite aloy of work.

195 45 17 on the rear 165 40 17 on the front mate.

to say i was runninr 17's would be a lie as my bus hasnt turned a wheel for four years but i do have 17's for it.

7 x 17 porsche rims with 205 40 17 rear and 165 40 17 on the front but ideally would like 175 55 17 on the back but they cost a lot

It's L87 pearl white, stock beam with adjusters, 15mm narrowed each side, dropped spindles, air shocks, 185x35x17 front and 225x45x17 rear.
No body mods.

Are those 17's in 5x130 pattern or 5x112?

Did you only narrow 15mm/side to offset the track increase for the dropped spindles? Which spindles did you use?

Nice job, definitely one of my favorites.

Hi,

The 17s are 7" wide so I needed the 15mm narrowing to get some space between the tyre and the car. You can see the difference in the two pics, detailed 17s is minus the 15mm.
The dropped spindles are the real ones, from Slammed Panel.
5x130
Monroe Load adjuster shocks, they got 5cm travel, up and down.

Those Porsche rims are the dogs whatsits -7x17's? are they boxster s rims? I assume this has a narrowed beam but is it adjusters or drop spindles? Is the ride ok? The Foosh 17's are also fantastic nederbug? Does anyone sell a 15mm narrowed beam off the shelf and what drop is there on the spindles? Great pics! it's spurred me on to get mine sorted! My last bay was running a red9 coil over kit with chrome empis but they allways looked too narrow and too small
