Hey Blue and cheers. I'm thinking on a time scale if i cut out the time it took to save up for the parts etc etc then from the first pic to the second, she took about 8 and a half years to get to that standard but there is always something to do on them so its always on going ha. The first 10 years of owning her though she was actually my daily driver but every M.O.T was like what's she going to fail on this time and she would fail all the time but i would have the necessary work done to get her passed for another year. I think it was 2011's M.O.T where she failed on welding and a light not working or something like that and also noticed a crack in the drivers seat rail and i thought right that's it enough is enough its time for a full restoration and so it began then. As for the work. The welding and respray were done by a garage in stages like the first year was the underneath and sorting that out. She was on a rotisserie, sand blasted and welded where necessary then later it was the body panels and so on. Alot of things like reassembly, interior, finishing etc and various other jobs was done by me and even now I'm thinking could it be improved ha . In the future though she will need a respray i think and I'm going to do it myself. Hopefully by then il have my own place to do it. We shall see.
