Does any one know if it is possible to swap the bell housing from one gear box to another,
without disturbing the inner workings of gearbox?
In process of replacing my gear box, however clutch and bell housing differ from my existing,
although gearbox is exact same ,even serial numbers match :?
Any help or advice would be real good :D
Cheers Paul.

What exactly is the difference?, bellhousings can be swapped easily enough, but if its a different depth then it will need a different length input shaft.
Maybe someone has already swapped bellhousing to a later bellohousing with the clutch release bearing sleeve on it?

Hi Loxy,
i think the bell housing has been swapped for a later one,
as clutch is multi finger type and workings differ.
Proving a real head ache , as i guessed i could straight swap it!
Did`nt know mine was`nt original set up
Do you think it may be possible to do it?
