Bertiebus
Melody and Jan acquired Bertie from its original owner early in 2006, housed within an old wooden barn nestled in the Essex countryside, a quintessential english village and an eccentric english fammily. Only surfaceing to take the family out and about the essex countryside or coastal visits, totalling 38,000 miles in 33 years not even the sleeping layout had been used.

Bertie rather than a barn now resides in a warm garage, alas it is still little used indeed its big outing is the annual trip for a quick service and yet another stressless MOT by the same mechanics that have known Bertie for most of its now 39,700 miles. In 2007 it was entered into a classic car show where it was fawned over by the adoring crowds, it is so rare that an english conversion survives the british climate and comes out looking like this, not only is the mechanical structure in superb un touched condition but the interior is clean and vitually unused, the fact that the original owners had never even washed Bertie in the 33 years they had him and the dry barn storage must surely have helped save this wonderful piece of german anglo automotive history. A more honest, unmolested bus you wont find, I'll let the pictures do the talking.

Sadly Melody and Jan have decided that this beauty is not getting all the useage that it deserves and are looking to sell it on to someone who sees this bus for what it is, sell it to someone that wishes to retain it in its current state, if this is you then please contact myself or BertieBus for further pictures and details.
