My best was traveling the UK for 2 weeks with my wife and 2 kids (1 and 3 year olds) in a '71 bus in May attending Battlesbridge and Dubs at the Park shows while at it , the best.

Oh why didn't I get into earlybay buses earlier ?

Best bit was going on holiday with my family and my mum and dad joining us for a few days. In general last year was a good year.

Worst bit was my Dad passing away about 6 weeks ago, had been diagnosed in June with an asbestoes related illness and given 12/18 mths to live, only survived 5/6 months. Was a pallbearer at his funerall something that i am pleased i did.

Having a son to carry on the family name :D

Like this - ours is due in 7 weeks! Though we dont know if it's a boy or a girl, would be wrapped either way, but a boy would be nice just for this very reason - I'm the only one left with my familly name

Happy New Year All!!

Son #2 being born. Worst bit was Wayne Rooney calling his son Kai as that's the name of my 3 yr old

No way, I was also gutted that my 4 year old shares the same name :(

Best for me was buying my EB and enjoying a cool season of shows. Looking forward to lots more shows in 2010

Had a sad period early in the year which kind of overshadowed the year for us :(

Had some great family holidays and enjoyed a load of great VW shows, mostly in pretty good weather 8)

Looking back to EBI3, it was probably the event of the year for me. :)

Worst bits. :(
Had more **** than usual this year, my mates Dad, Phil, passing away, losing my lovely Aunt Mary to cancer, losing my Uncle Joe to diabeties (now he was a lad!) and saddest of all my lifelong friend 'Stumpy' killed in a plane crash at Sebring. He was an aviation photographer aged 45 with a wife, 7 yr old son and 2 yr old daughter. Not fair.
My Mum having another 'mini' stroke.
My Dad 'surrendering' and admitting he is now old.
Not having much work, therefore not much income.
Getting my first pair of reading glasses! (it's an age thing!)

Best bits. :D
Someone very close getting the 'all clear' 12 months after having a bloody great cancerous tumor removed.
Despite, or perhaps because of all the above, learning to really appreciate what I have got. Health, family and friends, my own home, not having to sell my bus, (yet!), Early-Bay.com and everyone on here, the food on the table, sunshine, birdsong, etc, etc, etc.!!!!!

Oh, and me and my boy driving the bus to EBI-3 was absolutely awsome!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D

Best bit ,when my son spoke fluent French ....

worst bit , I can still only string a j`vous dwais together...

 @ araon

I chinned a supervisor , it was quite refreshing... 8)

oops i felt quite good when my pickup turned French... :p
