My Bus should be being delivered tomorrow lunchtime so i am going to have to pull my finger out to prep it for the mot and get it registered with the DVLA so that i can use it for VW Jamboree at the end of the month, so just wondered who the recommended number plate suppliers are (i will need a fast turnaround) also what size is the rear plate as looked on a few websites and they have loads of sizes.

Also how do most of you fit them to the bus, are you using the sticky pads for the rear and the metal clamp on (to bumper) brackets for the front.

Thanks
Simon

I used framptons (http://www.pl8s.co.uk/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) and the plates arrived within 20 HOURS! of me placing my order.

Couldn't fault the service :)

I've used this company a couple of times...

The short answer is no not legal. Some will say because its an import you can you the original country font etc etc...................

However they do look cool  I've got a US style plate on the rear in the US frame and a UK plate on the front (as the van only came with a rear plate frame). I also carry a spare UK plate for when (if ) I do get stopped.

Waiting for the shipping company and Kingstown to come back to confirm its been unloaded and cleared customs today. Its on target for a pick up tomoz, with a little luck :D
