Big Bear's new home...

The new van is now snug in the garage which I'd bought days before the old van was nicked. Hopefully not just snug but safe as well!

Bling added so far includes chrome grill, chrome window vents and side markers. Also visible (just) is a souvenir badge on the dash as the van's last location in the US was there at Big Bear Lake, hence the name.

It's a tintop! All but two people locally who knew the old van thought I'd got the other one back. One of the observant pair was an old dear of 80 who used to have a splitty!

No Rich, the old bill could hardly be bothered and certainly had no intention of involving the Met, whose area starts a mile away and who have loads of theiving toerags in the first town west from here!

This van is about as close as I could get to a proper replacement with enough right to make it great but enough not so good that I can personalise without altering too much. There's a list and brakes & headliner are above lowering & alloys which shows my age I guess!

I've finished cladding the wall and have a barrier up between the inevitable stuff and the van...

The van is called Big Bear as it was brought to the UK from Big Bear Lake. We've found another bear to keep him company, a real grizzly eh?....
