Can anyone recommend a good campsite around Biscarosse please ?
2 families with 3 kids aged 3,5 and 6
Found 1 or 2 with availability for school hols but would be nice if anyone could point us towards a good one.
Cheers

I was in Biscarrosse, a couple of weeks ago.

Here is my topic, with some pictures: http://forum.earlybay.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=47879&start=20" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

We booked a camping spot here: http://www.camping-maguide.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
It was cheap, but it was not so good for our little one of 11 months.
It's near the lake and 10km of the sea.
We went cycling and found a couple of very nice camping sites in the region. But after a week we went to la Palmyre...
If we 'll go back to Biscarrosse, we 'll go to camping les Ecureils => http://www.ecureuils.fr/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;, Very nice camping site and perfect for the little ones!
Have a nice stay!

Cheers fella,
I've tried to get into les ecureuils but its booked up for the week we're there unfortunately.
Thanks anyway

Les ecureuils is nice, we have stayed their loads, close to the lake and not far from the awesome waves on the beach!
PS I would recommend trying to hire a boat on the lake, their is some lovely quiet sandy beach's that are only accessible by boat, its awesome for wake boarding too!

Hi

We stayed at an Aires right on the lake at Sainte Eulalie En-Born, near Biscarosse, which was awesome. It had a quiet sandy beach with safe bathing for kids and a playground on it. You could launch and hire boats. There are Kms of purpose built cycle paths which I believe go as far as the biggest sand dune in Europe but we never explored it. The Aires is set in a quiet location next to a marina. It has a small toilet and washing up block and a cold outside shower! However it did have a nice small campsite next door with a pool and good facilities. The Aire was 5 Euros a night and the camp site 15 to 20. If you google it you should find it.

My 6 and 4 year old loved it.

Looked at google it is called Le Camping Du Lac
