Black streaks from window rubbers?

Anyone have this issue? Every time it rains I get black streaks running down my nice white paint from the window rubbers, despite cleaning the bus a number of times.
Didn't notice this on my last one but it was Savannah Beige so either it was the colour or it didn't happen.

Looks bloody awful.
 
Try painting on a thin coat of waxoil or similar cavity wax and just leave it to soak in.
 
or try this, it seems to help do the job but the rubbers were in reasonable nick on my old 69 beetle.

Thank you. Going to have to be a temp fix as listed above until after my travels when I'll renew the window rubbers. Lovely job that is.
