Blanking off the heat riser holes in your tinware

What do people use to blank off the tinware holes for the heat riser when changing from a stock carb.
I want it to look neat and not like something has been bodged in there......

I used aluminium plate cut using a hole cutter then on the bottom a rectangular plate with a matching size hole then used a domed Allen bolt and nut. Looks quite neat and tidy. I'll get some pics up if you want...

Weld them

Couple of jam jar lids back to back with an M3 nut and bolt through. Cheap and easy option.
