Depends where the leak is? Do you mean the reservoir where you pour the fluid in?

there are little rubbers between the resevoir and the cylinder, these can perish but im not sure you can get them new on there own.

sorry might have confused you

the brake fluid is leaking out of the master cylinder

when the push rod goes into the master cylinder it is fine however when it is drwan out brake fluid squirts from the cylinder any ideas??

thanks in advance

You would need to strip out the rod and seals and inspect the bore for damage and scoring etc. Then replace the seals, lubricate and rebuild.I can't find any where that sells the repair kits though, maybe you can with a search around?

If you can find an overhaul kit,it should work fine without having to replace the whole lot.

i've just found that gsf car prarts do a repair kit for the disk brake models without servo.( T2 Without Servo 8/70 > /79 )

I have a 1970 with drums also. I got a rebuild kit for my m/c (22mm bore I think) a couple of years back from 'Nelson Stokes' in Cornwall - excellent service.
