Brake hoses

Just about to refurb the braking system (on my all drum 1970 bus) including new hoses.

Looking at the cost of the standard rubber hoses I can get a complete set of stainless Goodridge hoses for pretty much the same price: has anyone used these and are they preferable to the standard rubber hoses?

Did you go for the stainless steel hoses in the end? If so, what's your thoughts? I'm considering doing the same myself!

haven't done it yet but probably will go stainless hoses - it's only a small premium over the standard rubber ones.
