Brake lights have packed up. They worked fine and now they wont come on when the brake is depressed.

Any ideas on what to check first, as i didnt think they had a fuse.

Thanks

Wires on the switches fitted on the top of the master cylinders or check the earth wire on the light cluster hasn't come off.

Where are the master cylinders & the light clusters located mate, sorry if this is obvious

Fred

Master cylinder is underneath just behind where you sit (in the middle) and the light clusters are at the back of the bus accessable through the rear hatch

Thanks pal. I have checked both of them and all wires seem to be in place. Earth is connected to both light clusters and as far a i can see nothing is un-connected on the cylinder.

Any other ideas?

Could be the switch itself (screwed into the master cylinder) cheap to replace but try to get a decent quality replacement ;)

Can I jump on this one?

My brake lights only come on if I really stamp on the brakes... so for most of the time - it doesnt look like I'm braking! Doh!
