Bulbs

Hi,

I was driving my bug home late evening last week - along mostly narrowish un-lit country roads (no white lines, just the occasional cats-eye) - plus most of the roads were tree-lined, and I found myself having to really concentrate just to stay on the road...

Ok, the roads were unfamiliar, and I was probably going too quick also - but the light from my headlights (even on full-beam) was woeful - especially when compared to a modern car - i.e. our 2004 Citroen Picasso.

Are there any suppliers that sell up-to-date/modern bulbs for bugs & buses?

Halogen bulbs is what you want!!

All the major VW stockists will have them, try VW Heritage.

Heritage even do Beetle halogen bulbs with a cobalt tint - that should p1ss off all the beemer, merc & euro-box drivers round my way
