 There is a horrendous amount of over priced scrap out there!

But I reckon most of that cost is labour, there won't be a massive material cost especially as its just a straight white.

Some times its false economy to go with the cheapest quote because if they are rushing the job or using crappy products it'll only come back to haunt you.

It took a good few hours, lots of heat, some very big hammers and lots of swearing to turn this...

If I didn't have an SC I would have just bought a new rear bumper from scofields and lived with the wrong slash cut ends!

love the red bumpers ... they are really striking against the black.

makes me wonder whether to pick something other than white???
but on second thoughts I can probably touch up white in future when it gets chiped.

White is actually a complete nightmare to try and get a colour match on!

What colour is the van?

The van is blue (neptune blue I think) with a white roof and white(ish) pop.
your right about colour matching a white - when I used to work in the bathroom industry there was no such thing as a white suite.
I think i'll get a colour code off the guy who's spraying them.

Here's a pic of our van on FDK if your interested ...

My bro doctered the photo a little as we were using the van for my other bro's wedding, but is fairly accurate.
