Bus been left for 5 years

Hi everyone

My bus, due to family and house commitments has unfortunatly been left standing for the past 5 years. I intend to try and get her back on the road for the summer and was wondering on what anyone recomends I should do or check before i drive it and get it MOT'd.

Thanks for any suggestions.

hi yeah tyres , brakes , check steering and oil /fuel change etc

Depends what kinda condition it was in when left really ..

At minimum i would strip and rebuild replace the brakes and change the fluid, check tyres for perishing and replace where req, drain all fuel and replace with fresh, service inc oil change/plugs/points .... and check all yer lights!

that should keep ya busy for a while!

My dads Morris starts on the button on its anniversary every year but when it came to move it there was zero braking. Brakes were probably only tried 2 years previous in a similar scenario!
