Camping part way to volksworld

We're traveling from Durham to Sanddown park for Volksworld show.
Leavin on Thursday, so we can campover that night, n drive the nasty M25 bit a bit earlier on the Friday and arrive at the gates opening.
So.Can anyone recomend a campsite somewhere off the A1 near Peterbourgh, Huntingdon or Stevenage?

Ferry Meadows is a really nice site I haven't been for years but did really enjoy it
