Ok any tips, got two weeks off in August haven't booked anything yet! Hopefully not to late fancy either taking the van over to Brittany although £££ otherwsie down to cornwall camping. few recs of nice camp sites would be much appreciated. Access to beaches swimming pool would be good and of course the guarantee of good weather!!

We spent 4 nights at Ayr campsite in St Ives a few weeks ago. Very very nice, tho quite expensive.
The facilities are 5*, the view is amazing and there is a nice coastal path to the beach off the site.

Ruda or Bay View at Croyde, North Devon.

Upper Lynstone at Bude is OK, short walk to town, and three good surf breaks within a 5 minute drive.

Hi,

We recently stayed at 'Trevornick' in Holywell bay (in between Perranporth and Newquay), Not cheap but realy good facilities. Beach nearby, bars/entertainment on site and a pool too....

Worth a look! :D
