Can I replace these locks without removing the window?

Is it possible to change the rear quarter window latch without removing the window?

I have a spare latch and even a spare window that came with the van but I can’t see how one would change them in situ?

That's good to know, thanks. I've got a similar job looming, my quarter window has fallen off its pivot, which seems to have rusted away. Does the pivot go into the body? Sounds like it doesn't if you were able to tap it out.

Wow! You were lucky to do that as the catch is riveted to the frame with two aluminium rivets. If you look from underneath you should be able to see the heads.

Someone had drilled them out before me. I guess they'd got stuck after the drilling and not had access to my claw hammer.
