OK so not necessarily an early though likely to be prototyped using the earlybay....

Its a "Land mine resisting vehicle" obviously...

Its amazing what you find with google....
 
Thats preety much the idea the force is dissipated its all mounted on shear bolts and sacrificial fuel tank and battery box. it self rights too...
 
arent those things designed to only take your leg off? should do too much damage to a yoke like that?

bit of usless info.. the average time to difuse a anti-personnel mine, by hand, is 193 secs :p
 
the leopard was designed for anti tank/vehicular mines....theres only something like 7 or 8 known to be surviving.... and only three of those road worthy.
 
theres one in the imperial war museum north here in the uk too........pitch up to the type 2 fetivals in this and see the reaction....
