Red 9 Rear disc brake conversion kit fitting

Hey all, has anyone fitted the above to their bus?

I bought my kit about 10 years ago and only just got round to fitting it... but it doesn't fit. I seem to remember the rear hub carrier needed to be machined but I didn't get mine done and would love to chat to anyone that's done this conversion.

Hi, (rather late) how did you get on with this? I am putting together my own rear disc conversion and have machined the outside diameter of late bay hubs to fit a loose discs, using late hub carriers and stubs, my own caliper carrier. Worried I may have missed something! Obviously will result in narrow five wheel pcd.

The original Red9 kit I had was ok, but the handbrake on their billet calipers is not strong enough for a heavy bus and I ended up fitting a line-lock to the rear brakes to hold mine on a hill.
I eventually removed the billet calipers and made a home brew kit with golf rear calipers and what I already had. I can't remember which Mk carriers I used in the end unfortunately, but a couple of spacers (washers) to get it all straight and it was fine, plus the handbrake mechanism much more willing to hold it!
As I no longer have the bus I can't take pics...if I find any I'll post them.
I have some nice little billet calipers if someone wants to buy them
