Hi,

Been thinking about upgrading my carbs for a while now and wanted to know which way others have gone?

Pics and personal experience welcomed.

Twin Webber 36IDFs bought on ebay for £100 and a 'CBperformance Manifold, link and filter Kit' at £150 posted, fitted on my stock 1600.

I got more power than ICTs, resonable fuel econ (much better than 40s) and not to hard on the pocket.

very interesteing i'm looking for a bit more power and fuel economy without spending a grand.

i'll keep my eye on ebay!

i've heard some bad things about 2nd hand carbs though!

Jonny these what you got buddy?

buy them from this guy:

sells dellortos & webers, jetted to your requirements and they look as good as new. Lots of people on JK have bought off him (myself included).
May not be the cheapest but will work right straight out of the box.
Then get a cb perf linkage & filters from Kerb Side Autos off VZi (in fact I think he also sells carbs as well).

cheers dude

i nearly bought some carbs from the kerb side auto's guy but the missus put the bosh on them lol

i've got dellorto drla 36's fitted with a CB performance kit - runs sweet and the guy who sells the carbs is on ebay somewhere.

it was about £500 all in if i remember

Most of the usual suspects of aircooled retailers do a set of 34 icts with all the bits for £350.
