Hi Felas

I have just started gitting a chirping noise comming from the engine/gearbox area when my clutch pedal is depressed.
Any ideas?

Ian

Is it the same noise both with and without the engine running? Get someone else in the front seat to press the clutch pedal while you move round the van to try and locate the 'chirp'.

Mine makes a noise - not sure it's a chirp - but its lack of lubrication (I think).

I didnt want to say anything...........but thats what it sounds like dooder

That what I was thinking, or clutch drag (no forward movement though), so looks like its the clutch release bearing, I knew I should have fitted a new one last time I had the engine out.

Any ideas on how many miles it will last before its really shot, I don't fancy getting the engine out till the weather warms up.
