Hi all,
My cluch cable snapped on Saturday. I've got a new one arriving tomorrow. I'm going to do it myself, but could do with any advice, tips, guidance etc. I've had a look at a few YouTube videos it seems straightforward, but is it?
Cheers Martin

In essence it is straitforward. A bit more involved if the vehicle is LHD as you have to take the pedal off.
What might cause problems is the pin at the pedal end worn, the flexible conduit worn and the wing nut at the gearbox end seized.
I've always found it useful to have spares of these as well at hand, so that I can replace the lot if necessary.
When you have finished make sure the conduit has sufficient bend in it as per:

Check the shape of the hole at the pedal end where the pin goes (often oval if so weld up ,grind flat and redrill to suit pin)
