Now i have seen it all!

Just told the misses, if..... sorry when i die, i want to be transported in my own van. She hit me and told me not to be so stupid

saw it at dub freeze , also seen the limos hovering about in the midlands , the limos are great 8)

Its the right cool if people are happy you are dead or you are becoming an angel, there is a very fine line between angels and people hating you, angels sometimes get hurt.

I would do it, but when i am dead I would not be able to force the matter and I guess the people around would not do it, I was thinking of just having a quiet funeral anyway, just me on my own, more sausage rolls for me :D

white is a not a morbid colour like black, if you look at the pics it use to be black, but far nicer in white. why does everybody follow suit like sheep.

After losing my mum when she was 53 i have a complete different attitude to funerals and hate the morbid sorrifull way they r, i'm no hippy by a long shot but why should we be sad, we should remember the great times together.

Well I want a big wake lots of laughter and alcohol......for too many people death is a welcome end to pain and heatache a nice colourful burial

The previous (he bought it new) owners ashes spent a month on the back seat of my dormobile before I collected it, did mention to my mate that his father-in-law might want his ashes to be run through the engine  family did discuss it but decided not too......

sorry , but its just the wrong colour , a bad idea IMHO

if you are going to go into that sort of business , surely a bit of research would have
told you it needs to be black

Hi Woody , i thought the same as you in the respect to colour of funeral cars , but while i was involved with limos a friend who had a funeral business and limo hire contacted me asking for white stretch limos for funeral work , i said what you said , aparently some now prefer white instead of the black :| i do know a few people who have done funeral work in white stretch limos .

I guess I'm just an old fart with some of my thinking ( but not all of it )

I've been to a few too many funerals over the last few years for my liking and I can see the whole concept of celebrating the persons life and do go along with it , it's just that some of it gets a wee bit too close to becoming bad taste in some cases.
I just thought it would have looked better in black with the flowers giving the bit of colour plus in black it might get a bit of respect on the road that is needed on such an occasion, something else that seems to be ignored more and more these days
I guess there is an outside chance a few drivers could easily mistake it as "a white vanman" at first clance

If I saw them driving down the road,it would look to me like some sort of weird religious cult or something. It's not until you see the wreaths inside that you realise it's a hearse

If thats what people want who am I to argue? It doesn't bother me.
Personally when I die I want the cheapest funeral in the world,I don't want my family to spend a penny on it if they can. They can use the money in their lifetime.

almost impossible these days, funerals are nearly as expensive as weddings!

have you ever seen a poor funeral director? i doubt it.

 - I think that's unfortunately too true.

If only life was this way round (apolgies if you've seen it before), a white hearse would probably be very popular:
