Hi folks, just wondered if anyone has come across the M code 213. Cant seem to find what it stands for anywhere.
Cheers all.

Oh i've found the other one!

Can anyone help me work out the date it was built?

it reads:

12 9
793 794
21 426 508 521 790
UH 2211 522552 8020910

Thanks very much!

12 september 1968

although it was probably built within a few days of this date as this is the factory order receipted date.. so instead of a born on date more like a conception date.

Wouldn't that make it a 1969 model? Its a '68.

Does the 8 at the beginning of the VIN mean the actual year of manufacture or the 'model' year?

Sam.

i've posted this in tech. and just seen this thread

I was wondering where it was shipped to.

Cheers dude!

I was using the same bible to decode a plate from a 72 mint Devon (feature bus  ) today and got into the E (Emden built) bit..had not come across it before apparently only 67 - 73 export (mainly US) models but wondered if all Devons of that time also built and shipped at Emden as by then Devon were importing big time...so who has a Emden built bus out there?
