Jay! Bugger off and stop showing off!!! :p

have to say ive only heard good things but alas cant afford a set myself :(

Lucky sod!

recently had aset put on my bus, only driven about 100 miles since but in this short timr i have noticrd that the brakes are way better then stock drums, highly reccomended, especially as you won them, lucky you!!!!!!!

Quite Possibly the best modification You will ever do to Your bus , Not only do they narrow the track of the front suspension by 8mm they also make your Bus stand on its Nose when you really have to Use em ;) and You got Em FREE

As much as I would love disc brakes, I still find it hard to understand the cost of kits such as the well established and undoubtably fine quality CSP version.
£200 for a pair of calipers, £100 for discs and pads, £50 for bearings/seals, has to be somewhere near for the 'off the shelf' bits.. The kit is at least £800 depending on the version (14" or 15", vented or not). £450 plus seems a bit steep for the rest of the bits even allowing for them having been almost 'bespoke' but now almost production line stuff. Thats working on the basis of 'new' 'trade' prices, if we were to use breakers yards it could be loads cheaper. Think, breakers, 5yr old stuff going on a 40yr old bus.Not dodgy like you may think. Would have thought calipers from a breakers could be had for no more than a tenner a shot? There was a thread on here with a proven 'home brewed' disc install a while back, can only presume the instigator was not willing to get involved with 'mass production'.

That was Noddy. I tried to help him but he was very busy, then he sold his EB and bought a Syncro Wedge 8)

He still comes on from time to time..

Who's using them and are they any good?

The reason I'm asking is, I just won a set from Machine7

thats all ive got to say about that

i think the bad brakes are pretty decent and alot cheaper.

Wow, they have gone up in price then. I bought mine a couple of years ago before the resto started, they were around £200 cheaper than now.

Mine are the ones that you cant fit steel wheels with but my mate has the same ones, you can just tickle a bit of metal off the caliper with the grinder and then the steels fit, slightly off track i know but......

Not fitted them yet, they are still in the box

is the stud pattern interchangable?

thats why i like the 'bad' version you can swap out the adapter for a different stud pattern.

This is what i would be interested in, always fancied wide 5 wheels but as i have narrow 5 discs would prefer to change the hub rather than fit an adapter (dont mind adapter on the rear but not keen on the fronts  )

Nice, I spent bloody ages trying to find that little image for the competition, my girlfriend found it in the end during her lunch break!

Good to here someone on here won them, even if they're not going on my bus ;)
