custom interiors

Dudes - does anyone know any companies that do customised interiors or any good web sites that have galleries of interiors so I can get some ideas? I'm after doing something a bit different. Cheers

Find a good local guy. The one you want is some old dude, who works out of his workshop in the garden. Usually dedicated to the job and is right into what you are up for. 8)

On the flip side of that, build your own, its amazing what you can aachieve with a saw and some wood glue! 8)

When you are out and about, locally have a nose at some nice cars etc, and if you find one that you like ask who did it. You never know 8)

bloody hell, they are 2 miles away from where I used to live (and incidentally on the industrial estate where the first uk vw beachbuggys were made)

Met an earlybay family at Harewood house last week (told them about the club)...they'd just had their interior done by a fella called Ken Spink in Leeds...it looked very good. All the panels, all the seats and the roof done very nicely...even a cool spare wheel cover...the price was fantastic. I'm going to check him out...pretty handy being in Leeds...just drop the van off one day and pick it up the next.

Need to get some shots taken of the van this weekend and I will post them up....

Shame I couldn't do the Standford Hall run you could have seen it then. Needless to say I think its great. (although it has a thirst for petrol and money...)

Mines a bit more 'lived in' shall we say! Had the lowering done...now got to get some new shocks...makes a pretty nasty bang when you hit a pot hole....you know what Leeds roads can be like

The interior specialists are bloody expensive :roll:

You can get van's as cheap in some instances :wink:

the roofracks have dropped a fair bit in price since i bought mine, and just as bloody well!

scoping my lowering options right now, gotta get it done before summer, despite leeds roads! :wink:
