Probably a question for Proffessor Wheeto,but open to others!
I am going to fit a dab radio into my van and it has a rear entry point for the aux lead,this will be used to connect various MP3 player and phones etc.
What I want and can't find is a socket that could be screwed to the dash so I can plug a 3.5 jack plug in and then use the aux function-what I am trying to avoid is having a long loose wire hanging down from the back of the unit as with the above idea the lead can be unplugged and bunged in the glove box.
Any links or ideas gratefully received
Paul

First rule of early bay is dont drill the dash :wink:

two ideas at present;
1. Bracket under dash
2. Use holes where old speaker was (would need to enlage possibly)
NO plans to drill directly under radio !!!!

Maplins do one :)

You could always put the hole in the glove box :wink:

My head unit has an aux lead at the back - the wire goes into the glovebox for my ipod :)

Cheers that looks ideal and would work in both the planned places,just need to get my soldering skills sorted!
